Jada is an actor, director, playwright, teaching artist, facilitator, and professional certified coach based on Colorado. As an artist, Jada believes that the best art is created through respect, collaboration, a strong desire to play, and an unwavering spirit of curiosity. She strives to embody these qualities in all that she engages in. She strives to dig deep into the intersection between art and social justice as a way to facilitate change, spark conversation, challenge preconceived notions, and engage minds, spirits and the souls of others through the power of storytelling. Jada has worked as a director at Miners Alley Playhouse and Boulder Ensemble Theatre Company. As an actor, she has worked at multiple venues including Stories on Stage, Aurora Fox Arts Center, Denver Center for Performing Arts, Curious Theatre Company, where she is an artistic company member, and with Local Lab Theatre, where she is an Associate Artist. Additionally, Jada is a two-time True West Award Winner and was accepted into the 2019 Lincoln Center Theater Directors Lab; Models of Collaboration.
